Founded by Hela Mejri, My Yas is rooted in a Tunisian heritage rich with artistry and tradition. Growing up, Hela was captivated by the way clothing could tell a story — the embroidery passed down through generations, the fabrics chosen with care, the silhouettes that moved with quiet confidence. From childhood, she dreamed of designing pieces that honoured that beauty.
When Hela became a mother, that dream took on a new name. My Yas is named after her daughter, Yasmin — a tribute to the joy, softness, and strength Yasmin brought into her life.
Launching the brand in Australia was a deliberate choice. Hela saw a gap in the market for fashion that was truly premium — clothing that didn't ask women to choose between culture, and style. My Yas fills that space: each piece designed with intention, made to be worn with pride.
